I wanted to keep from using my big oven all the time especially in the hot summer, and that is what I got. The mechanical timer is a little odd, but I rather like hearing it because it is a reminder that it is on.
I have been using it for about a month now. So far my new Oster Toaster Oven has lived up to everything I expected.
I really like its appearance, too. It makes great toast, it has been very useful as a warming oven, and I have heated up items efficiently.
I like the size---it is not too large, but still seems to have plenty of room for my purposes. Another feature that I love is the crumb tray----very easy to clean.
Plus, it toasts great.
Love the look of it. Seems to work well, but there's a bit of a learning curve getting used to convection cooking. However, I agree with others that the dials are a misery to read. Shocking design flaw in an otherwise good looking product.
I am very happy with my new toaster owen.It is perfect. Now I know I dont have to do that for a long time.Money well spent. I just had to get use to it that it is more poweful than any other I had before. I was tired of changing my smoler toaster owen every so often. I love it because it is stainless steal. Easy to clean, easy to use.Susan Edem
Watch your food carefully this cooks FAST. Food is well done at the minimum time with no preheating. Cooks a little unevenly so I try to rotate food halfway through so it doesnt brown only on one side. No complaints, fast is good in my house.
I had ordered two of these toaster ovens for our office so when it came time to replace the one I had at home I purchased another one of these. This allows for no dripping of any food item onto the coils. It is a well designed piece of equipment and performs each of its tasks very well. I love the fact that the heating element is not directly in the path of the item which is cooking. I would recommend this toaster oven to anyone. It is very generous in size for internal cooking while taking up minimal space on the counter top.Gloria Wargo / NJ
